Written & Performed by Michael Walsh; Between Takeoff & Landing recounts a little known story of 9/11. The passengers of Aer Lingus Flight 104, traveling from Dublin to New York, who are among the 6,000 people, from a diverted fleet of 47 transoceanic jets, stranded in Gander, Newfoundland. The tragic events of September 11th have turned this small, remote Canadian town of 10,000, into the largest makeshift airport terminal in the world. While waiting to resume their travels and their lives, Michael and his fellow passengers examine Gander, the world…and themselves.
